Field service management relies on the OCA Field Service modules, from Odoo’s open-source community. All your technicians can have access, with no extra licence cost per person.

Can technicians use it in the field?
Yes, from a smartphone or tablet: they see their jobs and the site address, and can add notes and photos.
Is Odoo Enterprise required?
No. We use the OCA Field Service modules on Odoo Community, with no per-user licence cost. If you are already on Enterprise, Odoo’s Field Service app is also an option.
Can we see the profitability of each job?
Yes: time, parts and expenses are linked to the job or project, giving the cost price to compare with the amount invoiced.
Do you also manage the stock of parts and products?
Yes, with Odoo’s Inventory app: purchasing, stock per warehouse and consumption on jobs.
