Code of ethics
Ten commitments, kept every day.
You trust us with your ERP, your data and your online presence. These principles guide how we hire, decide and work with you. They bind every member of our team.
- 01
Customer first
We start from your business and work back to the technology, never the other way round.
In practice
- Understand your processes before proposing a module.
- Recommend the simplest solution that meets the need, even if it earns us less.
- 02
Integrity and independence
As an independent integrator, we advise Odoo Community or Enterprise in your interest, not ours.
In practice
- Disclose any commercial interest tied to a recommendation (licence, partner).
- Refuse any form of bribery, gift or undue advantage.
- 03
Transparent pricing
No hidden fees, no surprises on the invoice.
In practice
- Prices published excluding VAT, terms of sale open to all.
- No paid work without a prior estimate and your agreement.
- 04
Confidentiality
Your data, figures and customers are yours alone.
In practice
- Non-disclosure agreement on request, before any sensitive exchange.
- Access to your systems limited to those who need it, and logged.
- 05
Security and data protection
Security is not an option: it is built into every service.
In practice
- Compliance with Tunisian law no. 2004-63 on personal data.
- Inform you without delay of any security incident affecting you.
- 06
Clear ownership
Your data is yours, our modules remain ours: the rules are set from the start.
In practice
- Your data remains your property: it is returned at the end of the contract in a standard format, and a customer backup is available at any time as an option.
- Odoo modules developed by OVS Corp remain its property: you pay an annual right to use them.
- For an installation on your own servers (on-premise), you can ask to purchase these modules: we provide a quote.
- 07
Candour
We say what we think, even when it is not what you hoped to hear.
In practice
- Say “no” to a request that would harm your project, and explain why.
- Own our mistakes and fix them at our expense.
- 08
High standards
We aim for standards some will find too high.
In practice
- Code reviewed, tested and documented before any go-live.
- Hire and grow people better than ourselves.
- 09
End-to-end ownership
At OVS, nobody says “that’s not my job”.
In practice
- A single contact who follows your request until it is solved.
- Decisions made for the long term, not for the next quarter.
- 10
Deliver on our promises
Quality results, on the agreed timeline, and measurable.
In practice
- Meet the promised response times and uptime (SLA).
- Warn you early if a deadline may slip, with a recovery plan.
