FAQ
Odoo for bookshops: your questions
Do we have to enter every book by hand?
No. The ISBN is enough: the record (title, authors, publisher, description, cover, dimensions) is imported automatically, one book at a time or in batches from a list of ISBNs.
Is a Dilicom subscription required?
No. ISBN import works without Dilicom. Updating from the Dilicom FEL (ONIX 3.0) is an option for bookshops that already subscribe.
Can we have several tills in the same shop?
Yes. Each till runs independently, with its own session and takings, while sharing the same stock.
Can we keep our current WordPress site?
Yes. We can connect your WordPress / WooCommerce site to Odoo to sync catalogue and stock. You can also move to Odoo’s built-in e-commerce site.
